Out of charge
We carry the car to a charger, your home or wherever you choose.
12V battery flat
The small 12V battery runs the locks and computers, so a flat one can stop the car from starting. When it dies the car won’t wake up, even with charge in the main battery.
Won’t go into drive or neutral
If the car is stuck in park, we use wheel skates to move it without forcing anything.
Charging fault or warning light
If the car says stop, we take it to a dealer or an EV specialist.
Why an electric car needs a flatbed
In an electric car the motor is connected to the wheels all the time. If the wheels turn, the motor turns too, and that can damage it when the car’s systems are switched off. That’s why most manufacturers’ handbooks say an EV must be carried, not towed.
We only use a flatbed, so every electric and hybrid car we move travels with all four wheels off the road.
