Low cars need a low-approach truck
A standard recovery truck has a steep bed angle that will catch the front splitter, the sills or the exhaust of a low car. Ours doesn’t. Our tilt-and-slide body drops the whole bed to the ground and slides it back, and we carry long low-approach ramps for the cars that need even less angle. The car is winched up slowly, with someone watching the front lip the whole way, then strapped down at four points over the wheels, not the bodywork.
