What is pay as you go business and fleet breakdown cover?
It’s breakdown help for company vehicles that you pay for per job. There’s no contract and no yearly fee per vehicle. You call, we give you the price, we recover the vehicle and you pay for that job only.
Is it an insurance policy?
No. It isn’t an insurance policy or a membership. It’s a one-off service that you pay for each time you use it.
Is it cheaper than monthly breakdown cover?
Usually, yes. With monthly or yearly cover you pay whether you break down or not. With pay as you go you pay nothing until you need us, so if you rarely break down it usually works out cheaper.
How much does it cost?
Van call-outs start from £110, car call-outs from £75 and jump starts from £60. You get the full price for each job before we set off.
Do we need a contract?
No. You can use us for a one-off job. If you’d like regular work on agreed terms, call or email and we’ll talk it through.
Can you deliver to our nominated repairer?
Yes. We take the vehicle to the garage, repairer or address you choose, anywhere in the UK.
Which vehicles do you cover?
Cars, motorbikes, electric vehicles, and vans and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. We don’t recover HGVs or carry out mechanical repairs.
How do I pay?
By card or bank transfer. The call-out or booking fee is paid up front by bank transfer or through our secure payment link, and you pay the rest on our card machine when we’re with you. For your security, we never take card details over the phone and we never store them.
